And why it’s the most transformative shift I’ve made in my business (and life)... Let’s get one thing straight: AI isn’t a gimmick, a phase, or some theoretical future. It’s how I work—right now. Every single day. It’s how I stay focused when I’m overwhelmed. How I write faster and better. How I make strategic decisions without losing my mind. And how I protect my energy while scaling my impact. This post gives you a behind-the-scenes look at how I actually use AI—across planning, content creation, research, operations, and even recovery. No hype. Just how it works in my real life. Morning: Clarity + Prioritization Before I open email or check Slack, I check in—with myself and my AI. This is where I reconnect with what matters. I use AI as a mental clarity coach to help me prioritize based on how I’m actually feeling that day—not just what’s screaming loudest. Prompt to try: “Act as my productivity coach. Based on my energy and mood today, what’s the ONE task I should prioritize to move my business forward?” The goal isn’t to “do more.” It’s to protect what matters. Midday: Strategy, Creation, and Research This is where AI becomes my thought partner.
Prompt to try: “Here’s a transcript of my latest workshop—can you turn this into a blog post outline with 3 takeaways and an engaging hook?” It’s like having a strategist, editor, and researcher in one. And it never ghosts me. Afternoon: Systems + Delivery Here’s where I really let AI shine. Instead of doing every repetitive task myself, I use AI to:
Prompt to try: “Here’s our onboarding checklist. What tasks can be automated, delegated, or redesigned using AI?” This is how I scale what works—without adding headcount or wasting time. Tool of the Week: AI-2027.com This site is wild. It maps out what happens when AI surpasses human-level intelligence by 2027. Whether that’s exciting or terrifying (or both), it’s a necessary read. Prompt to try: “If AI-2027.com comes to pass, how will it affect my work as a [ROLE] in [INDUSTRY]?” Plug in your own role, see what comes up—and then build from there. Final Thought AI isn’t optional anymore. Not for leaders. Not for entrepreneurs. Not for teams trying to do more with less. But the goal isn’t to adopt everything. It’s to adopt intentionally—and build fluency in what actually moves the needle. This is what I teach. This is what I build. And this is what I’m learning in real time—right alongside you. Thanks for reading. If this helped you, I’d love to hear how you’re using AI in your day-to-day. And if you’re still stuck? Drop a comment. Let’s figure it out together. —Katie Milton Jordan |
